Economic Indicators Source: Victoria Economic Development Corporation for Caterpillar Digs In - Victoria, TX  VICTORIA (Caterpillar) – Illinois-based Caterpillar Inc. announced Friday it plans to increase the size of its hydraulic excavator production facility already under construction in Victoria. In August 2010, the construction equipment company started its $130 million, 850,000-sf excavator production facility. Now the company will add an additional 200,000 sf at a cost of $70 million. The addition is expected to create 100 more jobs.
